ZBE Installs 100th Chromira
Santa Barbara, CA, USA - ZBE, Inc., a leader in wide-format
LED technology, announced its 100th Chromira installation.
This installation was made at Holland Photo in Austin,
Texas and marks an important milestone for ZBE's Chromira,
from its introduction in 1998.
Last year, production of the Chromira kicked into overdrive and enabled
many photo labs to not only compete but prosper in an industry that
was developing digitally. With its hybrid LED capabilities, Chromira
makes digital photographic imaging more affordable and provides a reliable
alternative to laser technology.
ZBE, Incorporated has been known for its reliable, high quality products
since 1985, when it first began to manufacture equipment for professional
photo labs. With a history of innovative and affordable products behind
it, ZBE has made a name for itself in the traditional photo lab arena.
And with the inception of the Chromira RA4 digital printer, ZBE not
only adhered to its tradition of quality, but succeeded in making the
transition into a new age of the photo lab business - digital imaging.
Chromira's present success has allowed ZBE to expand its digital product
line in response to the growing needs of the photo lab industry. The
Chromira 50" model is out on the market and has already been installed
in many labs throughout the United States and abroad. ZBE also has digital
product lines for Custom/Commercial and People/Portrait labs that include
the ChromiraTrims 32" & 62", ChromiraRIP, Chromira Workstation,
MultiServer with InternetDropBox, and a Color Management program.
Holland Photo began in 1981, providing professional photographers with
fine quality prints. Since then, Holland Photo has evolved. While still
providing fine traditional printing and processing, they can now claim
digital scanning, manipulating and printing as a part of their repertoire.
