Chromira Customers Can Now Upgrade First Generation Chromiras
To 5x Status for Five Times the Imaging Speed

August 29, 2003 - Carpinteria, CA, USA – ZBE, Inc. is now offering 5x status upgrades to Chromiras already in the field, which will give them the ability to print at add five times the speed. "It's like buying a brand-new machine at a discount price," remarks David De Arcos, ZBE's National Sales Director. "It was very important to us to have such an option available to our customers before the release of the actual Chromira5x machines. After all, it was our customers' support that made 5x imaging possible." The new Chromira5x 30 and Chromira5x 50 printers and upgrades represent another advance in ZBE's LED imaging technology. Printing at 25" and 20" per minute, respectively - the Chromira5x 30 and Chromira5x 50 can image up to 563 and 750 8x10s per hour.

Already equipped with Chromira's highly reliable wide format digital RA-4 photographic printing, the Chromira5x upgrades will provide Chromira users with greater productivity and speed - with the highest standard resolution, and with large format image quality on demand.

For even greater productivity and workflow, the Chromira5x printers are fully compatible with and can be bundled with ZBE's WorkStream order management and digital print production software.
