ZBE Earns Two DIMA Awards
Chromira 5x 30 Digital RA4 Printer Wins in Two Categories
Carpinteria, CA, USA – ZBE, Incorporated’s Chromira5x 30 printer received top honors at Digital Imaging Marketing Association’s (DIMA) 10th Annual Digital Printer Shoot-Out in conjunction with PMA Convention in Orlando, Florida. The Chromira5x 30 was selected as the best in the 30" - 49" wide-format photo printer category. It also printed the image that won in the Paper category for Creative Application.
"We are very happy to have won in the DIMA competition. It really speaks to our continued excellence that these are not our first DIMA awards. We do our best to deliver world-class products and it is an honor for that effort to be recognized by our peers in the photo industry," said Zac Bogart, President of ZBE. Also recognized was Kodak’s Ultra Endura paper as it was utilized in the print creation process.
Many leading companies in the photo industry submitted images in this year’s DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out. All entries were produced from "target" files created by Chromaticity in Grand Rapids, MI, USA. Participants were asked to provide prints based on the files along with specifications pertaining to the equipment used (printer); the consumables used (output media); and the production timing. A panel of independent judges voted upon the entries based on overall quality of the digital print and the accuracy of the color as compared to the "target" image.
