ZBE Supports Service Department Presence in Europe

Santa Barbara, CA , United States - ZBE Incorporated, well-known for their superior product support in the United States, is working towards the same reputation in Europe, in cooperation with two highly skilled and experienced technical companies, Germann + Gsell and Wanduch Lab-Consult. Together, they provide an extensive network of product availability and service / support in mainland Europe - operating in Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Finland, Switzerland, Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. With their staff of highly dedicated and knowledgeable technical service representatives, ZBE is confident that their wide-format RA4 digital LED printer, the Chromira, will be well-supported.

Having had the experience of supporting its own fleet of printers throughout Europe, the Switzerland-based Germann + Gsell is in an excellent position to distribute and support the Chromira line of digital imagers. Germann + Gsell is best known for its manufacture of optical printers and for its customer-minded sales force and support attitude. Their two main service representatives for supporting Chromira are Thomas Beck and Daniel Keck.

Thomas has had a long career in the Photo industry, and has been with Germann + Gsell for 22 years. Head of the Service Department, Beck has been involved with the assembly and quality testing of computerized machine controllers and optical machine printers, as well as field installations and customer service. Keck has had similar experiences and has been with Germann + Gsell since 1993.

Germany-based Wanduch Lab-Consult has been involved with many facets of the photographic industry for several years and has worked with such companies as Kodak, Gretag, and Agfa. Its founder and Chromira's main service representative, Michael Wanduch, started his career as a photographer, and worked in various fields such as Portrait Advertising and Aerial Photography. In the meantime, he studied Photo Engineering and worked as a Lab Manager for several years. After founding Wanduch Lab-Consult, Michael and his staff trained users of the Durst Lambda in the machine's uses, as well as lab workflow optimization, digital embedding techniques, and color management. They have also been involved in product development with Kodak, Agfa, and Sitte SLP. Michael Wanduch has had two papers published by IS & T's International Symposium of Photofinishing Technology.
