ZBE Expands Chromira Service and Support in the U.S.A.
Santa Barbara, CA , United States - ZBE Incorporated, manufacturer
of the Chromira 30" and 50" LED printers, continues to expand
its domestic Service and Support network to 10 technicians in an on-going
effort to accommodate rapidly expanding Chromira printer installations.
The recent expansion includes the installment of new service policies
and the extension of ZBE's morning service hours to better meet the
needs of East Coast clients. In this new stage of development, ZBE adds
two new field agents to its service team: David Tankersley and John
Gelert.
John Gelert, has 28 years of experience in the professional photographic
industry. He began his career at Brooke Engineering at the age of 14,
designing digital electronic circuitry for controlling stepping motors
in photographic enlarging and machine-tool equipment and going on to
designing and building microprocessor-controlled package printers and
automatic paper cutters, which he also serviced. In 1985, Mr. Gelert
began working for Lucht Engineering as a Software Engineer and with
time, became Lucht's sole engineering support for all of the company's
traditional photographic products. During this time, Gelert also earned
his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of
Minnesota. Today, John's consulting company provides engineering and
service support for Lucht, Brooke, and now ZBE customers.
David Tankersley has been involved with the professional photographic
industry for 12 years, and has acquired many skills through his varied
experiences. His career in the industry started with a position at a
package-printing lab while in college, where he received a degree in
Photography. From there, he advanced into management at a one-hour photo
lab, even while exhibiting and selling his photographic work. For a
short while, Mr. Tankersley left the photographic business to work with
computers and networking, but returned to utilize his skills at Noritsu,
where he operated as a technical service representative. Mr. Tankersley
now represents ZBE, where he can apply his experiences and skills in
servicing Chromira customers.
ZBE, Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of large-format digital
printers, and has been serving professional photographic needs since
1980.
