ZBE Introduces the WorkStream RE Image Rendering Module
for WorkStream IA
WorkStream RE allows WorkStream
IA to interface with any printer.
Carpinteria, CA, USA - ZBE, Inc. introduces
WorkStream RE, the latest productivity tool to compliment
ZBE's powerful suite of WorkStream order management
and digital print production software. Working seamlessly
with the WorkStream IA (Imaging Automation) production
application, WorkStream RE (Rendering Engine) will create,
render and distribute completed orders of printer-ready
image files to any RGB printer. WorkStream RE provides
valuable multi-printer workflow integration for utilizing
WorkStream's print production, packaging and customer
interfacing capabilities.
WorkStream RE will deliver final purposed image files
directly to any specified hot folder, enabling easy
integration with most digital print production software
applications. In addition to hot folder automation,
WorkStream RE currently offers direct interface with
Noritsu MP-1600 digital printers and will soon offer
direct integration with other popular digital minilabs
and printers.
WorkStream RE generates final RGB TIFF, JPG, and BMP
image files from customized orders prepared and submitted
through the WorkStream IA and WorkStream DS applications.
ZBE's WorkStream IA manages the order management and
the print production processes in the digital photo
lab or the imaging service bureau. In the professional
lab, WorkStream IA handles all aspects of order creation,
management and production from order entry and scanning,
through color correction, cropping and retouching, to
scheduling and printing. In addition, WorkStream IA
provides package creation, composites, with image rendering
tools to produce exciting new customized products.
WorkStream IA is designed to seamlessly accept photographer-
or studio- prepared orders for fast and accurate order
fulfillment between the lab and their customers, utilizing
the compatible WorkStream DS (Digital Studio) application.
WorkStream DS (Digital Studio) runs in the photographer's
studio. WorkStream DS is used to prepare images and
orders that will be printed at the photo lab. All aspects
of the order can be entered directly by the photographer
including image color corrections, cropping and composition,
retouching and product selection. WorkStream DS automatically
generates an order archive and database for the studio.
Orders prepared in WorkStream transfer seamlessly to
the photo lab for automated production. A key benefit
of WorkStream DS is that it allows the lab's customers
to efficiently transfer precisely prepared, cropped,
and edited final orders and image files via the Internet
or CD to a WorkStream IA imaging lab.

and RE applications and how to download them, call ZBE
