If you are calling regarding a problem with the machine
or with questions regarding operational procedures of
the Starlite, it is very helpful to have the phone available

INTRODUCTION
Congratulations! You have purchased the state
of the art in photographic enlargers. The ZBE Starlite
55 Colorhead is designed to be a rugged machine, simple
and elegant in design, yet sophisticated enough to facilitate
high-volume, high-quality printing in today's professional
photolab.
The Starlite 55 Colorhead can be used in virtually
any photographic printing environment. The Starlite
uses printing values which are compatible with most
video analyzers, and may be aligned to print perfectly
with an analyzers output color balance numbers.
It also supports printing with variable-contrast black
and white media.
All of these features are controlled using a single,
easy-to-learn keypad, which is backlit for use in total
darkness. Theres no more reaching up in the dark
to change a filtration setting. Operation of the Starlite
is just a matter of telling the machine what to do by
pressing a few buttons.

GENERAL
SPECIFICATIONS
The Starlite 55 Colorhead is designed to be a high-volume,
high-speed colorhead for custom printing. As such, it
is quite powerful, with about a thousand watts of lamp
power under its control. This, as well as the other
items listed below, should be considered when installing
the Starlite on any particular enlarger chassis.
