COLORPro & VC-SCAN COMPATIBILITY

Before the ColorPro and or VC-SCAN can be used with the Starlite 55, it needs to be determined if your Starlite Colorhead is compatible with either accessory. This can be done by inspecting the board itself. The following is a step by step procedure for the inspection process:

1. Make sure that the power to the Starlite 55 is turned off.
   
2. Open the colorhead door and remove the Mixing box.
   
3. Approximately in the middle of the motherboard will be a software chip with a white sticker and a series of letters and numbers on it. Locate this chip and note the numbers and letters.
   
4. Directly to the right of the software chip will be a white imprint on the Motherboard. This imprint will either say "U1 EPROM", "ROM A", "U8" or "ROM B". If the imprint says either "ROM A" or "ROM B", your Starlite 55 motherboard does not need to be upgraded in order to support the ColorPro and/or VC-SCAN.
   
5. If the Imprint says "U1" or "U8" you need to contact ZBE for information on upgrading the board.
