ProLab Software Upgrade Offers Even Greater Efficiency

Carpinteria , CA, USA –ZBE Inc. has announced a major release of the Chromira 5x ProLab’s software, which offers its owners greater flexibility and efficiency that will further enhance the Chromira 5x ProLab’s usability and job order preparation time. This software upgrade will also help further the reliability and lifetime of the machine.
Chromira ProLab’s software now includes more features that allow owners to dictate the printing and production capacities of the machine. For instance, the machine is naturally set to produce larger runs of prints with the greatest efficiency and with the least amount of paper waste with its image nesting function (which has also been improved in this release). However, the option has been added to “free nest”, meaning that owners can now nest various sized prints, instead of all same sized prints, together. This allows them to print smaller jobs with even less paper waste. Other updates include: new motor firmware for improved motor operation and lifespan, add crop marks, increased PCC cutting accuracy, and improved self-diagnostics.
